Jam recipe with pear and cinnamon

Jam recipe with pear and cinnamon:

Ingredients:

1 kg of pears (peeled, chopped and peeled from seeds)
800 g of sugar (the amount can be adjusted depending on sweetness preferences)
Juice and zest of one lemon
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Instructions:

Preparation of pears:

Peel the pears, cut them into cubes and remove the seeds.

Cooking pear jam with cinnamon:

Put the pears in a saucepan and sprinkle with sugar.
Add the juice and lemon zest.
Gradually add ground cinnamon to evenly distribute its flavor.

Cooking until ready:

Heat over medium heat, stirring, until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, for 30-40 minutes, until the pears become soft and the jam acquires the desired consistency.

Checking readiness:

Check the readiness of the jam by dripping a little on a cold plate. If the mass freezes, the jam is ready.

Packaging in cans:

Sterilize jars and lids.
Fill the jars with hot jam, leaving a small gap on top.
Cover the jars with lids and wrap them so that they gradually cool down.

Keeping:

After complete cooling, the jam is ready for use.
Store in a cool and dark place.

This jam with pear and cinnamon has a warm cinnamon flavor that goes well with the sweetness of pears. Perfect for breakfasts, toasts, desserts or use as a pie filling. Enjoy your meal!
